A few days ago, HTC revealed two smartphones named as U Ultra and U Play and soon there will be the third one to complete the lineup for 2017.
According to the information revealed by Evan Blass, the Taiwanese company is working its next flagship smartphone named as HTC U codenamed as HTC Ocean. HTC U will come with Edge Sense, in the concept video it is called as Sense Touch, but it is just a same thing.
HTC U Edge Sense allows you to manage various customizable operations with gestures that you not only make on the device screen but also on the U’s metal frame. You will also able to swipe or squeeze along right or left side of the smartphone in order to do various actions.

Evan Blass also shared that, HTC U will have5.5-inch QHD touchscreen accompanied with a screen resolution of 2560 X 1440 pixels. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset. There is no information shared about the RAM of the device, but with similar specification, chances are high that device will be featuring 3 or 4 GB’s of RAM.

Talking about the cameras, the device will have 12 MP rear camera featuring Sony IMX362 sensor and 16 MP front camera featuring Sony IMX351 sensor. There is no information about the battery of the device. The HTC U will be running Android 7.1 Nougat customized with HTC Sense 9 UI out of the box.
It is expected that HTC U will have two storage models of 64 GB and 128 GB which is expandable via microSD Card.
HTC will unveil the HTC U in the middle or end of the April and possibly a phone will be open for purchase by early May.
