Samsung, the Korea-based smartphone manufacturer company well known for its wide range of smartphones. Recently, the company has launched Samsung Galaxy S8 accompanied with S8 Plus, the flagship phone of the year.

Rumor: Samsung to test dual-screen smartphone prototype

Now the rumors company that, the Samsung is reportedly testing a dual-screen smartphone prototype. According to the source, it is expected that it is going to be the initial version of the forthcoming foldable smartphone named as Galaxy X.

It is also in news that the phone will feature a set of organic LED display panel connected with a hinge in the middle. Also, you can fold this prototype upto 180 degrees

According to rumors, the company has already placed an order for the components to manufacture around 2000-3000 units of the upcoming dual-screen smartphone by the first half of 2017. The company is already working on “Project Valley” that aims to manufacture the Galaxy X, the first smartphone that features single flexible OLED screen and can be easily folded outward.

The internal sources also mentioned that the company is testing the water with the dual screen phone to collect ideas about the forthcoming foldable phone.

The source says that the first foldable smartphone from the Samsung will feature5-inch OLED display joined with a single hinge. To roll out the first limited batch of the Samsung Galaxy X by the first half of 2017, the company has also speed up the research and development work related to the foldable phone.
